Larkspur is home to Marin County’s ferry terminal. Residents often use the ferry to commute into San Francisco for work, while tourists come to use the waterway as a mode of site-seeing transportation. Another notable area in the town is Larkspur Landing—previously Hutchinson’s Rock Quarry—which has since blossomed into a beautiful shopping center with live music and featuring the County-renowned Farmer’s Market. The quaint downtown area is very popular, with restaurants/ bars such as the Melting Pot, the Silver Peso Bar, and Emporio Rulli.
