Tiburon is located just North of San Francisco, but still calls Marin County home. A popular attraction near Tiburon is Angel Island, where many school children and Bay Area visitors go for historical tours and family-style picnics on the island. Tiburon is home to the Audobon’s Society Richardson Bay Sanctuary, where there is significant marsh bird and mammal life, as well as significant creeks and waterways. The small city also houses Paradise Cay, a high-end waterfront community at the foot of the Tiburon Peninsula. Belvedere is barely one square mile in size, but has some very grandiose views of the San Francisco Bay and surrounding hillsides. Many of the properties in Belvedere are single-family homes, about 100 of those addresses are currently rental properties. This area has grown from a small fishing community to a popular sailing community and is now home to the prestigious San Francisco Yacht Club.
